- Installiere Ruby mit den RubyInstaller unter https://rubyinstaller.org/downloads/. Hinweis: Bei der Installation alle Haken setzen (set Path, …)
- Öffne die
cmd
als Windows-Admin. - Führe aus:
gem install asciidoctor
- Teste die Installation mit
asciidoctor --version
Die Ausgabe nach dem Testen ist etwa
Asciidoctor 1.5.7.1 [https://asciidoctor.org] Runtime Environment (ruby 2.5.1p57 (2018-03-29 revision 63029) [x64-mingw32]) (lc:CP850 fs:Windows-1252 in:UTF-8 ex:UTF-8)
Wollen wir PDFs generieren, und auch syntaktische Vervollständigung, nehmen wir folgende Ruby-GEMs hinzu:
gem install --pre asciidoctor-pdf --conservative gem install coderay pygments.rb --conservative gem install rouge
Jetzt sind die Tools installiert und es kann konvertiert werden, etwa die Datei example.adoc in PDF:
call asciidoctor-pdf example.adoc
